About Choosing Simplicity

I am a stay at home/work from home mom, happily married with 3 step-kids & run 2 Etsy shops, Kawaii Goodies and Bliss Candies.  I love the Lord, cooking and baking, gardening (even though I’m not very good at it!), crossword puzzles, Scrabble, traveling, and animals!

I think it is so important to find the time to implement positive, lasting, and life-changing habits. There is just something so deeply satisfying in knowing you are making a change that will affect you and your family in a positive way not just for now, but for the rest of your lives.

This is the essence of choosing simplicity; to view life from a thankful, uncluttered perspective and to take pro-active steps towards living a fulfilling, exciting (this is different then nerve-wracking), uncomplicated life.

Though this blog is written from the perspective of a mom and wife, I think that anyone of any age will find many of the ideas and recipes here helpful and useful. I hope that I can provide a little inspiration and hope to those who feel defeated by the “rate race”, be a testimony to the lasting joy that simplicity brings, and perhaps a little humor along the way!
