Wow, it has been a crazy and HECTIC couple of weeks! Moving a full house plus our business is no small task, and then all of the un-packing, enough to make me sit in the corner and cry I tell you! And with Father’s Day coming up, the orders have been pouring in from Bliss Candies like never before, so I have been a busy and weary little bee. For the first time in a couple weeks I finally have time to test out a new recipe for the candy shop and I decided on Chocolate Caramels. They are still cooling now, so we’ll see how they turned out in a couple of hours!
**Update-Here’s a picture of the Chocolate Caramel, they turned out GREAT! The whole family gives it two thumbs up! We also now sell our caramels in “NOTHIN FANCY” caramel logs, I save time since I don’t have to dip them, and you save money, a win-win situation

Homemade Chocolate Caramel
With the summertime heat upon us I realized that I need to add more to the shop beside chocolate covered items, as shipping it with ice packs is costly and I know many out there would love to see some items that do not require them. I know I’m a bit behind as really I should have this a month ago, but I just didn’t have time with all of the packing and moving etc… So for the next few weeks I’ll be testing out various different bars and cookies that will not require ice packs, I already have a few favorites in mind
I know my kids for one are excited, as they get to test everything out!
